What will your legacy be?

What we leave behind will be our Legacy to the women and girls of tomorrow. 

The University Women's Educational Foundation was established by members of the La Mesa-El Cajon Branch of AAUW to create an endowment for the Branch.   The Foundation is organized exclusively to promote education and equity for women and girls through scholarships and grants.   It also can accept donations for the various Branch programs as a tax exempt donation.  A portion of the distributed income is distributed annually to the La Mesa-El Cajon AAUW Branch.  And the Branch gives 5% of their three fund raisers to the Foundation. 

The University Women's Educational Foundation was incorporated January 8, 2005 and received its Federal Tax Exemption on December 1,  2005 thus it is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

Gifts of any amount are welcome at any time.  Life Membership is given to donors of $1000 or more.  Donations to the Foundation may be made over time or through a bequest in your Will or Trust.
