Local Scholarships

Our branch awards yearly scholarships for women enrolled in Cuyamaca and Grossmont Colleges and San Diego State University.

Our branch participates in local schools:

Tech Trek Summer Science Camp: Grade 7
Speech Trek: High School

Public Policy

In order to affect change, monitoring of legislative issues is an important function of AAUW. Our branch provides candidate forums, as well as informative meetings on local school board issues and participates in coalitions for human and civil rights.

Because our branch members desire both knowledge and FUN, we have many special activities which are announced in The Forecast, our monthly newsletter.
